Your ads pay for every call. Make sure your 1-800 number answers.

Toll-free number monitoring: we test-call your numbers on a schedule from two carrier networks, record what callers hear, and alert you within minutes of a failed test, before a dead line costs you a case or a customer.

Monitor one number freeHow it works

No software to install. Works with any phone system or carrier in the US.

How it works

Add your numbersAny US toll-free number: 800, 833, 844, 855, 866, 877, 888.
We call on scheduleEvery 6, 12 or 24 hours, alternating between two networks in two regions.
We listenWe record the first 12 seconds and check it's your greeting, not a carrier error or dead air.
You hear firstA failure is re-tested from the other network a couple of minutes later. If it fails again, you get a text, email, call, Teams or Slack message.

Built for law firms and anyone advertising a toll-free number

If you run vanity numbers like 1-800-INJURED in several markets, a single misrouted or dead number can burn a month of ad spend before anyone notices. Monitor every number, in every market, from one dashboard, with a monthly report that proves your lines answered. HostedVoice is a voice carrier that already runs phone service for call centers; this is the same monitoring we use on our own network.

What you get

Two networks, two regions

Toll-free calls route differently depending on the caller's carrier and location. We test from both, so a partial outage shows up as one, not as "everything's fine."

Hear what your callers hear

Every test keeps a short recording and transcript. We tell you if your greeting changes unexpectedly, or plays your closed message during business hours.

Fewer false alarms

One dropped call doesn't wake anyone. We re-test from a second network before alerting.

Alerts that escalate

Text, email, then a phone call if nobody acknowledges. Teams, Slack and signed webhooks too. Maintenance windows pause it all.

Proof for your ad spend

A monthly availability report per number, emailed to you, and a status page you can share with your team or clients.

Business-hours aware

Set your hours and time zone. Test around the clock, or only while you're open.

Pricing

Per number, per month. Pay yearly and get two months free. 10 or more numbers: 10% off.

Prices are per number per month and renew automatically until you cancel. Each test is a short call to your number, so it may add a few cents a month to your toll-free usage with your own carrier.

Questions

Will the test calls ring my staff?

They may, if your number rings people directly. Most toll-free numbers answer with a menu or greeting first, which is what we listen to. We hang up after about 12 seconds. HostedVoice phone-system customers can have tests routed to a silent test message instead.

Where do the calls come from?

From (334) 378-2431 and a second number on another network. You can allow-list them, or route them to a recording on your own phone system.

What counts as a failure?

Busy, no answer, a network failure, silence, or a carrier message such as "the number you have dialed is not in service." A greeting that changes is reported separately, without marking the number down.

Can I cancel?

Yes, any time, from the Billing tab in the portal. Paid plans run to the end of the period you've paid for.
